These terms apply to purchases of the CCD Inspector system and related software, licenses and services from Chen Xu ("we", "us") through chenxu.org. Contact: chenxu1098@gmail.com, 29 Brooks Ave, Unit 2, Arlington, MA 02474, USA.

1. Quotes and orders

Every order is based on a written quotation or invoice issued by us in US dollars. Price, scope, delivery, installation, warranty and acceptance terms are those stated in that quotation or in a contract signed by both parties. If anything in these terms conflicts with a signed quotation or contract, the signed document prevails.

2. Payment

Online payments are made in US dollars through Stripe at chenxu.org/pay. Please enter the exact amount on your quotation or invoice and, where possible, its reference number. When you pay with Alipay, Alipay converts the charge into your local currency at its own exchange rate; any currency conversion or bank fees charged by your payment provider are your responsibility. Payment confirms acceptance of the corresponding quotation.

3. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds, cancellations and deposits are handled according to the signed quotation or contract for your order. To request a refund or report a payment made in error, email us with your payment receipt; approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

4. Software license

The CCD Inspector software is licensed, not sold. Each license is bound to one computer through offline activation and may be used only to operate the inspection equipment it was supplied with. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer or attempt to bypass the license protection of the software, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law. Re-issuing a license for a replacement computer is handled through our support.

5. Measurement results

The system reports physical measurements derived from its calibration. Accuracy depends on correct installation, calibration and operation as described in our documentation; you remain responsible for your own production and quality decisions based on its results.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost production or profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
